We are so excited to welcome Cherub DuVall to our team as Project Manager! Cherub is organized, hard working and has a heart for customer service. She is already making a huge impact on our team, and we know our clients will love working with her as much as we do. Get to know Cherub in her Q&A session below!

What are you most excited about doing within your role as Project Manager?

One part of my role is to create projects for children ages 0-5. I am excited to be able to use my creativity to encourage others. I am also very excited about meeting new people and hearing their stories.

What is something you are proud of?

Something I am proud of is earning my college degree. I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies with a minor in psychology from Georgetown College and I am currently working toward my Masters of Public Administration with a focus in economic development.

Can you share about your past work experience?

In college I randomly decided to apply for the Disney College Program and I was accepted. I had the chance to work at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in The World of Avatar as a merchandise cast member. I also worked for a daycare during a summer camp program.

Who/what inspires you?

My parents and my brother! My parents have given me a great relationship to look up to and have given me a great view of what it means to be hard working and kind. My brother is kind, strong and caring. I hope that I show others the same qualities I see in him.

What five words best describe you?

Hardworking, Bubbly, Determined, Ambitious, Crafty

What is the best compliment you’ve received?

While working at Disney, I received a guest compliment. This meant that I had influenced someone’s vacation and that I did something to make their day better. It showed me that doing my best and letting my personality shine has an influence on others and will take me far in life.

What’s your favorite project you’ve worked on?

My cousin passed away my junior year of college and around Christmas time that year I decided I wanted to find a way to honor her. She had a love for animals that she passed on to anyone she was around, including me. That Christmas, I started collecting blankets to be delivered to the animal shelter in her name to help keep the “fur babies” comfortable and warm. The project is still small, but has started to grow and I am excited to continue this project for years to come.

What’s your favorite thing to do in your free time?

I have recently started to cross-stitch. It has been a fun way to relax my mind.

Fast Questions:

Early bird or night owl?

Night Owl!

Beach or mountains?

Beach! My favorite thing to do at the beach is to go fishing with my dad.

If you could time travel, would you go back in time or to the future? What would you do?

I would travel back in time and ask family members all the questions I have now and take pictures of family memories that I never want to forget.

Favorite vacation spot?

Disney!

Superpower you would love to have?

To fly! I like adventures and trying new things. I once went parasailing on vacation and seeing everything from that level was neat.

We are so excited to have you on the team, Cherub!
