Impressions Marketing and Events seeks a part-time Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative, clerical and customer service tasks. If you love organization, details and ensuring the best customer experience, this may be the position for you.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining meeting calendars;

  • Scheduling meetings and events;

  • Answering and returning phone calls and emails to address:

    • Client requests;

    • Event vendor confirmations;

    • Vendor pricing and availability requests;

    • Other requests, as needed.

  • Monitoring deliverables for event and client sponsorships to ensure all areas are covered and executed exceptionally;

  • Outreach on behalf of clients to gain sponsorship leads;

  • Assisting in the creation and maintenance of a client appreciation program;

  • Developing and maintaining an online filing system for files and paperwork;

  • Ordering office supplies as needed;

  • Opportunities for onsite event work, as the need arises;

  • Other items as needed. The person filling this position should be willing to jump in and help where needed.

Additional Details:

  • This is a part-time, contract position. Initially, the position will be 12-15 hours per week, with the opportunity for growth in hours and responsibilities if mutually agreed upon.

  • This position pays $12 per hour, with opportunities for growth.

  • The person accepting this position must be local to the Georgetown/Lexington area.

  • The person accepting this position must be willing and able to meet in-person with team members in Georgetown one to two times per week (approximately 3-4 hours per week). The remainder of the work will be completed remotely.

  • The nature of this position requires consistency in work schedule, with the bulk of the work being completed during the standard work day. Scheduling will be further discussed with potential candidates.

  • The person filling this position should have access to and ability to use:

    • A personal computer with Internet access;

    • A printer would be helpful, but not required (printing can be completed during the mentioned weekly meeting times if needed);

    • A scanner would be helpful, but not required;

    • Microsoft products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);

    • Google Drive;

    • Dropbox.

  • High school degree is required; prior experience as an administrative assistant or using similar skills is preferred.
